Today we were learning about how Gideon bravely faced but was killed by Nehor. I commented to my neighbor, That is just like Kylo Ren and Lor San Tekka!
I have always liked Gideon and it was in the running for one of my son’s names. Thinking about Nehor and Gideon in this way seemed to make the story a little more real. Sure, you might not think comparing Star Wars to the Book of Mormon is a great way to make it more real. The thing for me is putting a face to the name.
