What are some ways that you have made Sacrament Meeting a revelatory experience? Is renewing your baptismal covenant something you prepare for?

There has been an emphasis recently on the Sacrament and the Sabbath day. Chapter 15 of the Howard W Hunter manual supports this with this episode’s lesson, “The Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper.” We will help you get more meaning out of this ordinance’s renewal and show you how to make it one of the highlights of your week.

We also take time in this episode to discuss how to assist those with disabilities to be able to participate in the Sacrament. We have an expert on hand in Lynn D. Parsons. Lynn is an author and uses her site, LDSDisabilitiesHelp.com, to support the parents and church leaders of those with disabilities. Her purpose is to help those in the LDS community to understand disabilities and work together to improve the quality of life for all members and their families. She has two books out; Plain and Simple Truths which has hands-on lesson plans for gospel truths, and Disabilities and the Gospel which is about helping people with disabilities participate in church. Keep an eye out for her new book releasing this fall.
Our family had been making the most of the last few days of summer but are now back in school. (We start early in Arizona). If you have some last road trips planned, check out this mobile device organizer I made for my wife while she is in the car. This month will be all about Marriage and Family on the Blog. We have some ideas, but need some feedback.
Opening Hymn: As Now We Take the Sacrament
