Just as the Church represents An Ensign to the Nations, a Light to the World, we also can bring light into the lives of others.
At Christmas, we were encouraged to #LIGHTtheWORLD with the spirit of Christ. That theme continues into January with our second lesson from the Gordon B. Hinckley Manual, An Ensign to the Nations, a Light to the World.
Austin and Stephanie of Scribble Day are our guests this week. They recently launched a new original book called Scribble Day. The concept of Scribble Day is that you take one of the 50 scribbles in the book and turn it into a work of art. Each scribble includes a hashtag that can be used as a way to compare your perspective to others on social media! Scribble Day is also great for children in sacrament meeting because it can keep their imaginations active and their wiggles to a minimum! Many people that bought from us bought several copies so that they could make a family activity out of it and see other points of view. Great for Family Home Evening, lessons on perspective and seeing the positive in everyday life!
