Carrying the Gospel to the World is the lesson for this week on the Third Hour of Power. It is Chapter 22 from the Ezra Taft Benson Manual
“How do you build in boys a great desire to serve? You do not wait … to help them decide to serve a mission. You help them decide to go when they are nine, ten, or eleven!” In that same spirit, I have invited my ten-year-old Son Garren to join us to discuss the work of carrying the Gospel to the world. He is a bright kid who is looking forward to his mission. We discuss ways that he is preparing personally for mission service, how I can help him as his parent, and how we all can be engaged in the work of carrying the Gospel to the world as members. Our full-time missionaries need us to assist them through member missionary work. Consider the promise given by Neil L Andersen in his talk, “It’s a Miracle.”

I promise you, as you pray to know with whom to speak, names and faces will come into your mind. Words to speak will be given in the very moment you need them. Opportunities will open to you. Faith will overcome doubt, and the Lord will bless you with your very own miracles.

Grady is still spending his next 30 Days talking about Giving Thanks and is even hosting the Latter-day Linkup, a linky party for other Mormon bloggers to share thankful content.
